How soon can I get a dumpster in Calgary delivered?

The delivery times will vary based on your location and the current level of business. We will typically be able to offer you a dumpster in Calgary within one or two days notice. At times we may be able to get the dumpster to you on the same day. However, it is best to plan a few days in advance so we can better meet the timing requirements that you need. We will do everything we can to get the dumpster to you when you need it.

What if I need more time with the bin rental than the included days or you come to pick up the dumpster and I am not ready?

If you need more time than what is included, give us a call and we will work with you. We can tailor a package that is suited to your needs. We offer no obligation quotes before any work is started, so it is best to schedule the amount of days before hand so you know the cost. If we come to pick up the dumpster and you are not ready, we will charge an additional fee for the service.

What is the cost if I fill up the dumpster and require another?

If you choose a dumpster that is not large enough for the job at hand we will be happy to bring another dumpster to you and remove the full one. There will be an additional fee for the second dumpster. The cost will vary depending on the size of the dumpster that you need and the area that you live in.

What time will my dumpster be dropped off?

Our delivery times are typically between 7 am and 5 pm. If you have special circumstances and need the dumpster delivered at a specific time, we will do what we can to accommodate your needs. We do our best to call you first and let you know when your dumpster will arrive. We also do everything in our power to make sure that we deliver the dumpster at the time that is specified.

What time will the dumpster be picked up?

Unfortunately, we cannot give a specific time for pickup. The pickup will depend on the traffic conditions as well as the weather at the time. We will generally try to pick up any dumpsters in between the hours of 7 am and 5 pm. If you have specific needs, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate them. Make sure that the dumpster is not blocked on the day it is scheduled to be picked up.

What materials cannot be placed in the dumpster?

There are certain items that cannot be placed in our dumpsters. Air conditioners, refrigerators, and freezers, due to the Freon that these items contain, are $20 extra for each item. You also may not use the dumpster to dispose of batteries, chemicals, railroad ties, propane cylinders, or any other type of hazardous waste. It is illegal to place hazardous waste in this type of dumpster. If you have any questions about some of the items that you are wishing to get rid of, please contact us and we will be happy to answer them.

Where can you place the dumpster?

We can place the dumpster in your driveway, yard, or anywhere else on your property that you want it. If you do not have a drive way and wish for the dumpster to be placed on the street, you may be required to have a permit from your locality. You may contact us and ask about restrictions in your area for street placement of our dumpsters.

What payments do you accept?

Our preferred method of payment is by using a major credit card when you book the dumpster rental. However, we do accept cash payments, and cheques from our commercial customers.

What sizes of dumpsters do you offer?

We currently offer 10 yard, 12 yard, 15 yard, and 20 yard dumpsters. Our services are available in Calgary, Bearspaw, Chochrane, Chestermere, Okotoks, Airdrie, Langdon, Bragg Creek, and Springbank. The prices for each size of dumpster vary by region. Please contact us and we will be happy to help you determine the size and price for the dumpster that will best meet your needs.

Will I be billed for extra weight?

If the amount of weight in your dumpster exceeds the amount that you quoted in your order, additional fees will apply. We will help you determine the estimated amount of weight that you will have based on information that you give us. We will also give you a quote per ton to help you estimate the price you will pay for the dumpster and services.

Do I have to be there when you deliver or pick up the dumpster?

No, you do not have to be present when we deliver or pick up the dumpster. Our driver will use his best judgment for placement of the dumpster at the time of drop off. If you are not available when we deliver the dumpster and are unhappy with the placement, you will be responsible to pay for charges to move the dumpster to your preferred location. When picking up the dumpster, if it is obstructed, you will be charged additional pick up fees.

Will the dumpster damage my driveway?

We recommend that you protect the surface where the dumpster will be placed. A 4 x 8 piece of plywood works well to protect your driveway from any damage. If placing the dumpster in the yard or on the street, plywood is recommended as well. We are free and clear of all liability associated with any damage that is caused by the dumpster and its placement.

How long can I keep the dumpster?

The dumpster is yours for up to 2 weeks, if you need the dumpster for more days than the agreed amount in the contract, you will be charged an additional $50 per week. Make sure to contact us if you need the dumpster for longer than the contracted agreement. We will do our best to accommodate your needs. Call us when you are ready for us to pick up the dumpster.

How much room do I need?

In order to drop off the dumpster we will need to have the length of the truck plus the length of the container available. This is approximately 40 feet of space. We also need a 10 foot wide clearance in case there are any wires, tree branches, air conditioners, overhanging roof edges, or bay windows. Our drivers will help you clear the area to make sure there is enough room. While it is not required that you are there for delivery of the dumpster, it is preferred.
